Recently, the Ministry of Education promulgated the "Decision on the Award of Scientific Research Outstanding Achievements in Higher Education Institutions (Science and Technology) in 2020". Zhejiang Rifa Precision Machinery Co., Ltd. won the Science and Technology Progress Award for Outstanding Achievements in Scientific Research of Higher Education Institutions (Science and Technology) First prize.



The Scientific Research Outstanding Achievement Award (Science and Technology) of Higher Education Institutions was established by the Ministry of Education to encourage teachers, scientific and technological workers and scientific research organizations of higher education institutions that have made outstanding contributions to the advancement of science and technology. Important scientific and technological awards including the Science Award, the National Technology Invention Award and the National Science and Technology Progress Award. The project "Key technologies and applications of CNC machine tool error measurement and real-time intelligent compensation" was jointly completed by our company and Shanghai Jiaotong University and other scientific research organizations.


If a worker wants to do well, he must first "fine" his tools. With the rapid development of CNC technology, the precision level of CNC machine tools plays a pivotal role in the development of the manufacturing industry. However, the accuracy improvement of CNC machine tools has always been a problem of the neck of domestic machine tools, and the key core technology of industrial mother machines is still subject to others. The project successfully solved difficult problems such as modeling difficulties, measurement difficulties, and compensation difficulties, and achieved technological innovations such as multi-source error comprehensive modeling, global measurement and identification, and real-time intelligent compensation. Through the error compensation method, the machining accuracy of the CNC machine tool is significantly improved, and the accuracy of the workpiece can exceed the accuracy of the parent machine, and the economic cost is much lower than other existing technologies. The technical achievements are widely used in more than 40 units in the fields of national defense, aerospace, and numerical control equipment, and have been highly praised by scholars at home and abroad.


This school-enterprise cooperation joint research project not only established an independent technical solution and a complete intellectual property system, but also solved the problem of the accuracy of CNC machine tools. It also played a vital role in leading the development of the discipline and cultivating the talent team.
